Basic Research:
Currently pursuing PhD under the guidance of Dr. Eric Small, PhD studying the nuclear envelope biology and the epigenetic mechanisms of Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC) in the Aab Cardiovascular Research Institute (CVRI) at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry.
Currently leading research projects investigating the role of the Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs) and the receptor for Advanced Glycation End Products (RAGE) in E-cigarette-mediated cardiovascular impairment under the guidance of Dr. Leila Mohammadi, MD, PhD and Dr. Matthew L. Springer, PhD in the Division of Cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
Clinical Research:
Currently involved in clinical cardiac electrophysiology research investigating the role of metabolic syndrome on the ICD and CRT-D outcome under the guidance of Dr. Valentina Kutyifa, MD, PhD in the Clinical Cardiovascular Research Center (CCRC) at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Currently involved in clinical pediatrics research investigating the role of maternal marijuana exposure on newborn asthma and ADHD under the guidance of Dr. Karen Wilson, MD, MPH in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Currently involved in clinical Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) research investigating the outcomes of post-Fontan procedure in adult ACHD patients under the guidance of Dr. Pradeepkumar Charla in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
